Our basic travel packages include the following: 

1) Travel. Travel to and from all destinations and excursions "within" the visited country. We pay for all planes, boats, cars, and moto-taxis during the trip. You are responsible for getting to the country. 

2) Food.  You will receive 3 basic local meals per day. You are responsible for snacks, additional meals, and any "fine dining" we collectively decide to go out and eat during the trip. 

3) Lodging. Our trips include all hotels, airbnbs, or sleeping accommodations. These accommodations will be reviewed with you prior to beginning our adventure. Sometimes in the field we find options to upgrade. Upgraded accommodations are not included.

 4) 2 Guides. You will receive one of our full time US based expert guides that will meet you at the airport when you arrive to the country and remain with you throughout the trip until you leave. 

We will also have a local guide traveling with us to assist in translation, negotiation, and the coordination of our adventures within the communities we are traveling in. 

5) Security. The areas we travel to range from "seedy" to "extremely dangerous." Everywhere we go has some level of danger but we do our best to protect ourselves every way we can. Some areas we travel to will require local security teams or armed guards but all of our expert guides have a strong military and or combat training background and are dedicated to bringing everyone home safe. Again, this guide will remain with you throughout your adventure.

6) Photos/Videos. Unless you ask us not to, we take a lot of pictures and videos to document your adventure. These will all be shared with you when the trip is over. Your picture will never be taken or shared without your documented permission.

7) Adventure of a lifetime. Sometimes it is fun, scary, hard, challenging, crazy, sad, etc. but one thing is guaranteed you will never forget the experience.

All kinds! We take anyone from all walks of life. Scientist, archaeologist, historians, social media influencers, mission groups, extreme travelers, business executives, etc. All trips are different and will be custom tailored to your groups prerogative. If you are wanting to party in a war zone,  find a missing relative, deliver supplies to remote areas, or anything else you can imagine we will take you there!

Yes. We take many precautions to ensure the safety of everyone on our team but the places we go can be volatile and things can change very quickly. We have an initial security meeting to review all safety procedures and make everyone aware of the potential dangers. We also go over what to do in the event you are separated from the group. In addition there will be a security briefing prior to each excursion. Some areas are more dangerous than others but we go above and beyond to keep everyone safe and comfortable. The most important thing is to be aware of your surroundings and always remain calm.

No, international gun laws are very strict, complex, and guns are completely banned in some places. Therefore traveling with your own personal protection is extremely difficult and not worth the hassle. There are some destinations where we do need guns and in these areas we have guns provided locally.

The maximum number of travelers per package varies depending on the trip. We try to keep the groups small due to security reasons. A typical group is 6-8 people not including guides, cooks, or translators. This is the typical trip but any group size can be accommodated with proper planning.

We try to be overly transparent about the trips so everyone is aware of all conditions prior to embarking. But if someone feels they wish to terminate or change the trip they are welcome to do so at any time and we will make every accommodation within reason to get you home or to wherever you want to go.

Yes and no. There are some trips that some simply cannot make. I would not take a child into a war zone and I wouldn't expect a paraplegic to swim across the amazon river. But with proper planning we can accommodate anyone in some way. 

Our Adventures are typically 2 adventures in 2 weeks in the same country but different regions. You can choose to do either adventure or both. We really like to do a lot of stuff on our trips and 2 weeks is the perfect amount of time to really experience the culture and see and do lot of different things. 

No. Although the places we go are typically hotspots for illegal activity;  going , observing, or documenting is not illegal. We do not encourage anyone to engage or participate in any illegal activities but we are not the police and what you chose to do in these places is completely up to you. We are simply here to guide, help, and keep you safe.

We go anywhere, we currently have 4 dedicated destinations each of which we go to multiple times per year. We also have about 10 different destinations we travel to either annually or bi annually. 

But we will take you anywhere you want to go.

Each destination is different and you will get a detailed list of all the "must haves" and a list of  "nice to haves" for the adventure of your choice. But always remember to try to travel light and less is more.

No problem. Everyone is different and we are use to being very flexible and accomadating to any and everyone in our groups. A lot of thought and coordination is given to each adventure and we always build groups according to ability and interest. For example we would never mix a group of church missionaries with a group wanting to go party. The best bet is to be honest about your what you want to do and we will make it happen.

Our typical basic trip cost per person is about $3,000 per week or discounted to $2,500 per week if booking two or more weeks. We recommend 2 weeks in most of our destinations. This is mostly all inclusive. Hotels, Food, Transportation, Security, Translator, Guide, Activity Cost, Etc.

 There may be additional cost depending on the adventure you want, for example, if you want to ride enduro motorcycles throughout Columbia then the rental of the motorcycle would not be included. All of this will be discussed prior to booking and we will work to get you the best rates possible on anything you would like to add to your adventure.
